The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

CdM's Winter musical has been selected and cast and rehearsals have begun.  Due to schedule changes on the CdM master calendar the Winter musical had to be changed.  Originally scheduled was Xanadu but with the change to Winter Formal the licensing rights could not be obtained.  So the theatre department made some quick changes, theatre people are good at that. 

CdM's theatre department tries to keep the season fresh with new, or different productions and Spelling Bee fit right in.  Music Theatre International just released the performance rights which means that not many schools have performed the show.  CdM will be only the second high school in Orange County to produce the musical.
